IncreaseImages uses browser image APIs rather than a remote enhancement service. That distinction matters: the tool can resample pixels and re-encode a file, but it cannot recreate detail that the source never contained.

Published limits you can verify

  • Three static input and output families are supported in this MVP: JPEG, PNG, and WebP.
  • Each selected file is limited to 25 MiB before decoding; animated formats and unsupported containers are rejected.
  • A generated result is limited to 32 megapixels and 8,192 pixels on either edge to reduce browser memory failures.

Questions before you resize

Are my pictures uploaded?

No. The current tool processes supported pictures in your browser. There is no image-upload endpoint in this MVP, although normal hosting and security logs may still record page requests rather than image contents.

Is this an AI image upscaler?

No. It uses deterministic browser resizing and file construction. It can create more pixels or bytes, but it does not claim to recover real detail that was missing from the original.

What is the difference between pixels and KB?

Pixels describe the width and height of the image grid. KB or MB describe how many bytes the encoded file occupies. Changing one can influence the other, but they are not the same target.

Can I use the result for an official form?

You can prepare a file, but you must check the form’s latest dimensions, size range, format, and content rules. The tool cannot promise that a separate portal will accept any file.
